On this day, our school was one of the selected schools by the Jabatan Sekolah-Sekolah to share some cultural performances for teachers and students from The Zhenghua Primary School from Singapore. It was an honour! We welcomed them with our medley traditional dance "Datang Pesembah" and then we served then with few other performances like Hadrah, another medley dance "Tudung Dulang and Joget Seni Budaya", Drama "Doa Ibu Yang Makbul" and finally the grand finale "Bemukun" with our very own Queen of Mukun, Makcik Hjh Dayang (she can be heard in radios and can be seen in RTB with her beloved husband, Haji Hidup).

Also, we displayed some of the traditional foods like ambuyat, kueh cacah, kueh jala and etc. These displays were created by our Master Chef, Cikgu Pg Hjh Intan bte Pg Hj Sabli. We also showed them how to "menumpah" the ambuyat and how to use the "candas". Love the "cacah" she made! *craves*

As for the grand finale, we ended the show with the "bemukun" and dance. My dancers taught the Singaporeans students and teacher some dancing steps.

Everyone had fun and we got GOOD feedbacks from the Jabatan Sekolah-Sekolah officers who were there to witness the event. Thank You so much for giving us the oppurtunity! We'd love to receive more visitors in years to come.
